Course 4: Biblical Mentoring

Outcomes of the course
On completion of Course 4, students will demonstrate the following:

  • Knowledge of principles and application of the Biblical mentoring model

  • Skills
    Leadership and mentoring skills in a personal, business or organisational context.
    Application of mentoring principles in case studies, mentoring projects and discussions.

  • Attitude / values: Growth in character as leader-mentor.

Methodology

  •    Distance education. Study material provided on a CD or in electronic format.
  •    Self-studying provided material and complete self-study assignments.
  •    Four written assignments, a practical mentoring project and a learning journal.
  •    One 2-3 hour conversation on the student's unique design (individual session)
  •    Open book examination, done at home.
