Syllabus
The course focuses on the following
themes:

Learning area
1: Biblical counselling to adults (18+) who were
traumatized in their childhood by their parents/guardians or other
people/events

Learning area
2: Biblical counselling to adults who have been
sexually traumatized (e.g. by rape, sexual harassment, sexual addiction, etc)

Learning area
3: A biblical method of defusing and debriefing adult
individuals and groups with acute resent crises (e.g. vehicle collisions,
accidents, natural disasters, robbery, detainment, sudden death of a loved one)

Learning area
4a: Biblical counselling to adults who suffer chronic
trauma of permanent losses like illness (cancer, HIV Aids, etc), handicaps,
poverty, joblessness, energy shortages, singleness (e.g. unmarried, divorced,
widowhood, widower hood), ageing, relationship violence

Learning area
4b: Biblical counselling to helpers with secondary
trauma – helping traumatized people (maintaining law and order, working is
disaster areas, care givers and other helpers)

5: Biblical counselling to traumatized children and
youth (-18)
