Course 4: Biblical Mentoring

The purpose of Course 4  is to equip individuals to be Biblical mentors in the business world and in an organisational context.

Outcomes:
At the end of the course students will demonstrate the following:

  1. Knowledge of the following aspects covered in study units:
  2. Spiritual and practical skills the application of the Mentoring Model to the leadership and coaching in the organisational environment (whether business or church).
  3. Attitude / values which display the spiritual values of caring and creating a supportive environment for the development of others.

Admission Requirement: Previous experience in the business world is a recommendation. 

Duration of course:  One year. Final assessment is done at the end of the Course.

Contact sessions: To be arranged by study leader.

Methodology: Interactive facilitation during contact days; self-study using the Bible, course textbook, learning guide and prescribed reading; written assignments; keeping a learning journal; completing a Behavioural Style questionnaire; written final assessment.

Venue: Contact sessions are held at the offices of ABCE at 239 Kent Ave, Randburg.

Study leader: Dr. Marius Schalekamp.

Cost: R6000.00. A deposit of R1000.00 must accompany the enrolment form.
